One of the projects funded by the European Union (EU) to support the development of agriculture in Azerbaijan is the “Slow Food” project. The project began at the end of last year and will be completed in November 2021.
ABC.AZ reports that during the presentation of the fulfilled works the media representatives were informed that a meeting with 200 farm owners was held within the framework of the project.
Negotiations are also underway on the production of wine at one of the large production enterprises.
Agricultural projects of the EU are implemented in 28 regions, covering a quarter of the country's territory.
These projects gave support to 4,500 people (2,000 of them are women), including local and regional authorities, entrepreneurs, family business owners and farmers.
